Dear Father Nghi,

Thank you for your prayers and for passing the message to all friends around the world. Many have told me they appreciate it so much.

These last two days the cardinal is resting well. Yesterday we also sang a song of Our Lady Lay Me la Ngoi Sao Sang after his communion.

The Ambassador of US to the Holy See visited him yesterday and presented a bouquet of flowers on behalf of President Bush. He, as others who have seen him, told me that he was amazed at the serenity of the cardinal.

Looking at him, I feel as if he is talking to God, living 'the present moment with God', and this made my reading of his book more meaningful now than ever before.

Please let our readers know that the cardinal and our family are so grateful to so many prayers and wishes, and this is a great comfort to us all. We join all our friends around all corners of the world in our thoughts and we know that God is listening to us every day. God loves our Cardinal very much and He does take very special care of him for us.

Each day I say to Him: God, I do my best and I know YOU will do the rest for me.
